What is a Ceramic Coating?

• Ceramic Coatings are fairly new into the auto detailing industry. Ceramic Coating(s) are a durable coating that will outlast the lasting of a Sealant or a wax coating...better protection and hydrophobic properties that allows washing a vehicle process a lot faster. Most coating(s) can last up to 7+ years. Although a wax or a sealant may protect your car's paint mildly for several months to possibly a year, ceramic coatings not only last years longer, but they are extremely tough. To put this into perspective, a vehicles clear coat measures anywhere from a 2h-5h on the hardness (clear coat) scale, while many ceramic coatings measure a 9h (the highest measurement on the scale).

• Graphene Ceramic Coating is the most durable, thickest, and longest-lasting coating option. With proper maintenance, it can last upwards of 9 years, so this is the best choice for someone that plans on keeping their vehicle for many years or for those that may not like to do full details as often. Just like the original version, we strongly recommend that you apply it indoors, free of dust and in a more temperature-controlled environment.

 

Should You consider applying a Ceramic/Graphene Coating?

When a ceramic coating has been applied to a vehicle, washing, waxing, and maintaining that vehicle becomes DRAMATICALLY easier.
